But I've heard it said in the past that this concept of everyone
owning a home is an unhealthy thing. It is a comparatively recent
idea - only since WW2. It makes mobility much more difficult. Again,
I've heard in the past it's a peculiarly British thing - many other
nations' citizens are happy renting.
