Hi

I work from home and my house is no longer big enough to provide
enough space for my family and my office. Can I pay for a loft
conversion (for my office) out of the company accounts, if so does the
company then "own" part of my house (could this be depreciated like
another asset over 3 years?). I dont want to get in the situation
where my home or part of it would have to be sold if the ltd company
became insolvent.

Maybe I would be better paying a rent? If so what would a reasonable
rent be for a room, as an office in a residential property? Thanks

Tim
