Hi,

Thanks again for the help. Spoke to the Halifax complaints number and
asked how they can justify the hike in charge. I've been reading that
if they can't justify it, I can complain to the financial ombudsman.

I've got a feeling Halifax would rather reduce the payment to =A3100,
rather than get charged =A3300 for a report to be filed with the
financial ombudsman.

It's worked for other people...
