I've lost my old Quicken 2K disk but as they have stopped supporting it in
the UK it looks like this is the time to migrate to something else.
I had a look through Google groups and most of the entries seem to be from
the mid '90s!
Just plain Googling elicited the fact that most ex Quicken users hate ALL
the other applications :-)
With particular venom saved for 'Personal Accounts Home Edition'. So it
looks like that's out! I tried a copy of MS Money but as I appeared to be
bankrupt* I was not impressed.
I suspect that as I'm not a financial ace I will be stuck with MS Money but
has anyone any other suggestion for something that works as like Quicken?
And by the way I was quite happy with the old Quicken 95 which I thought was
better than the 2K. I think their big mistake was XG and trying to get home
users to rent the application yearly - no one wanted that, so naturally they
lost market share!
TIA
Slatts
