Are you looking at shares or bonds ?
Do you actually want capital growth or all income ? (think CGT vs income
tax)
Do you have enough to consider making your own investment decisions and
thereby saving the 2%+ in charges.
It really isn't that difficult to find out where your favorite fund has
invested its money and copy it.
Remember that the past investment performance is often the opposite of the
future.
