Your house is your best investment. Leave the money in your property until
you want to buy abroad. Do not go to a financial advisor. If you need cash
in the meantime increase your mortgage by the amount you need including the
repayments.

| I'm hoping to sell my house soon and buy a camper van and spend a lengthy
| period driving around Europe looking for a property abroad. I don't want
any
| money I make from the sale just sitting in my bank doing nothing so I'd
like
| to invest it somewhere and hopefully make money during the period I'm
| searching.
|
| There won't be a great amount, probably between £40k and £50k, so what
would
| provide me with the greatest chance of making some money over, say, a one
| year period?
|
| Thanks.
