This is a informal note to let the readers of: sdnet.real-estate and
sdnet.real-estate.agents know that this newsgroup is a *regional*
newsgroup for San Diego, Calif., USA. What that means is, property and
discussions of real estate should relate to the San Diego area.
This is NOT a global newsgroup for trying to sell your property if it is
located out side of the San Diego area. That is what global newsgroups
such as: misc.invest.real-estate, biz.marketplace.real-estate,
alt.invest.real-estate and other real estate newsgroups in the alt.*
hierarchy are for.
So the summary is, "sdnet" stands for San Diego. If you have property to
sell or discuss that is IN San Diego then sdnet.real-estate and
sdnet.real-estate.agents is the newsgroups for you. If you are trying to
sell property that is not located in San Diego, this is not the newsgroup
for it. It does not matter if you think there might be a buyer in San
Diego, that is NOT the point and you are welcome to use any of the other
global newsgroups (mentioned above) to do this in.
Best regards,
William Kronert
