Yes, the FSAs campaign for IFAs to 'Treat Customers Fairly' requires
evidence. Their 'Treating Customers Fairly : Progress Report May 2007
refers repeatedly to firms needing to have evidence that they have
treated customers fairly.

The FSA is saying that it doesnt prescribe the actual procedure used.
What it des say that there must be evidence, so the car sales people
have chosen their own way to provide that evidence.
