Until very recently, if you looked at house prices in Germany
you would not see prices cheaper than the UK.  But in any
case, this has got nothing to do with the cost of supply and
everything to do with what people will pay.  There is no-one
that makes a small house cost 500K except the willingness
of the buyer to pay this.  There is no-one in the chain that
causes a 'rip-off' here.

And since when have the other two been tangible items.
(I chose my words very carefully because I knew someone
was going to use these two things as examples).
