Percent increase Jan to Dec - England and Wales - All properties from

2000 7.7%
2001 8.9%
2002 19.5%
2003 4.8%
2004 9.7%
2005 5.3%

Between 2000 and 2005 prices rose by 92.4%. Wish my wages had done the 
same:-)
