This is a myth, anyone can have Chip and Signature cards vice Chip &
PIN.  CardWatch advice is not to use the same PIN for each card.
Therefore if you cannot remember several PINs for different cards, and
you question the lack of privacy offered by PIN consoles then insist on
Chip and Signature cards - It's your choice, it's just the card
industry is being economical with the truth.

I wonder what would have happened to the victim if he'd used the same
PIN for more than one card?
