No, I didn't achieve any great discoveries like you with Telfer, now
Australia's largest gold mine. That discovery of yours was huge and almost
defies imagination that one man, alone in the desert could make such a find
on his own. But you did it and there are records there to show its true.
Firstly, we have Tom Evans speech in the western Australian parliament, and
secondly there is the book written by the President of Australian Minding
Leaseholders Association.
So anybody who says you didn't do it, doesn't know what they're talking
about.
And there is also the signs there of the corruption that followed in how you
and mining shareholders were ripped off in favour of the mining company
profits.

I don't really understand why you found Australia to be a hell hole, but I
can recognise the points you bring up relating to the worst characteristics
of Australian attitudes. You wouldn't be able to say them if you didn't
experience it.
