It's absolutely essential to have some context quoted in Usenet posts
when responding to the contributions of others. Propagation is uneven as
nntp seeps around the world -- it's the nature of the beast. Like most
people, I read posts as they come, which is not always the same order
that they're posted in. My original point about configuring Google
groups not to strip such material is sound.
