Subject: Selling endowment - original arranger still has charge on it

Been told that by the broker selling my endowment that it appears that
the original arranger (Natwest Home Loans) still have a charge on this
(from 1993 !) and that I need to get them to agree that they no longer
have an interest.

I've not had a Natwest mortgage for years and I'm betting that its
going to be hassle because Natwest ahve probably lost all the
documentation for this. (They claimed this when I successfully got them
on endowment mis-selling).

Is this normal behaviour? Surely its my policy and I can what I want
with it?
