Subject: Lawn Mower problems.

 My lawn mower died yesterday. it was working fine , but for the last
couple of times, it gives a knock like a  pistol shot and then dies. I
checked the spark plug , Had a lot of carbon on it. So i cleaned up,
changed the oil and then it started again. After about 15 mins another
Knock and then it died. When checked I found a lot of carbon again as
before. Yesterday it did not restart again after reprated cleanings
etc. What is the reason for this carbon ? And what Can I do to fix this
. 

Model Honda HRS 21.
4 years old .
