Table-top models are basically semi-disposable at this point, so not worth
paying for repair. But having said that, I'd still skin it for laughs before
I threw it out. Quite often, just cleaning all the push-on connectors and
microswitches brings them back to life. Set up several broke relatives and
quasi-relatives with recycled curbside machines that way.

But if it is indeed dead, and you don't feel comfortable working on the
guts, just take your dimensions to the local big-box stores, and any local
appliance stores that still exist, and start measuring. If it is a brand
name you have heard of before, the quality will be 'good enough', if it has
the features you want. Stay away from the made-up brand names the importers
use for the loss leaders. I wouldn't pay over $120, max.
