   Bad idea, IMHO.  Too much risk of roof damage, plus sealing the 
opening will be iffy.  And will need a rain cap over the pipe.

   There are special roof vents made for this app but they require
removal of several "shingles" to make watertight.

   Go thru the stucco or a soffit or end wall; any place but the poor roof.
