Got a call from Interlock Roofing salesperson, he gave the power sales
talk, a special program for 55 homes in your area, etc.
I asked what was the typical cost of installation, he said that wasn't
how the program worked. Regardless I said, I'd like to know that the
typical split entry cost in my area, did he have that figure? He said
he wanted to explain "the program." I asked will you tell me what the
typical house cost to roof with Interlocking Roofing? He said No, that
isn't how the program works.
As soon as I told him I wasn't sure if I was going to be in the house
more than 20 years, and if the interlock roof was going to be
substantially more, than an asphalt roof the guy actually got huffy and
beligerant. He said, "well it's going to be twice as much or MORE."
I asked him why he was getting worked up. He said, "You might not fit
our program." OK, whatever....
This guy was from central casting. I thought maybe they are remaking
"Tin Men" and I was a test caller for the actors.
One thing is for certain, I would never do business with this clowns
company if they can't even tell me the cost difference on a per square
foot basis. Sheesh.
