Nope- no survey contingency in the offer. Our lawyer is going to chew us out for 
getting into this situation with our eyes open.

We had a home inspection done today and my husband is not particularly happy 
with the job that was done, so we want a second opinion. I am sure the agent is 
going to cause problems on that one too.

I got a document with the land surveyors certificate attached from the city 
hall. It has a survey on it- at least it shows the dimensions and the plot size 
etc., 
I am currently tracking the ppl that did the short plat and the builders. they 
would have better info. i am not looking to fence of every inch of my property, 
just want a decent idea of where the lines are.
