Which is, of course, likely to suggest Lowe's because they 
carry the brand.  I tried a similar search for a specific
oil filter for my motorcycle.  The manufacturer's web site
suggested WalMart, which did carry the brand but not that
specific filter, and would not even consider ordering it 
even when I said I would buy a whole case.

A local plumbing supply house would probably have no trouble
ordering one though.
