Now, who is the one who is being dishonest? You can't be this dumb so you
must be lying. As a realtor, you are absolutely obligated to give a
prospective client (seller) an honest appraisal of the worth of his
property. These agents that are being investigated, have made it a practice
to not be open and honest with these sellers. The seller calls and say he
is thinking about selling his property and was wondering how much it is
worth. Instead of answering the seller's questions, the agent then asks him
how much he would like to get for his property. The seller says he really
doesn't know but he was thinking "around $100K?" The agent says, "Gee, at
that price, I might be interested in it myself.", knowing the property is
worth $130K retail. He then buys the property at $100K in the morning and
sells it that afternoon for $120K. I guess if he had told that seller,
"Hey, if you can hold on till 3 O'clock this afternoon, I can get you
another $20K.", you think the seller would tell him not to worry, that he
was happy knowing the agent pocketed $20K. I'm sorry that I have to be the
one to tell you this Mr. www.urtext.forplanetearth.com, but you are held to
a higher standard than I am because of your license.

If you think that you find exceptional deals by driving around the
neighborhood looking for FSBOs you must believe in Santa Clause too. Get
off of your butt. Use your brain. Don't do what everyone else is doing.
Everyone else being, your Realtor buddies. The fact that you ask such
childish questions tells me that you wouldn't know what to do with the deal
even if you did accidentally stumble across it. You are however on your way
to riches. You now have part of the secret. It is the magic sign. Next
time you are in Home Depot, be sure to ask for one. If they don't have one,
post your name and address here and I will mail you one.
