Lights usually on in just the rooms being used, 3 outside low wattage
bulbs all night long, temp is usually set at 71 degrees day and 65
night, water temp is at 150 or so (and losing efficiency through the
hot water recirculation lines), dishwasher once a day, 4 people in the
house (who all use the big master BR shower), most meals cooked at
home (gas)..... what the heck is with the refrigerator question?

No way do we shiver in the dark - I like to be warm and comfy. It
comes from being a skinny runt.
Yeah I know this is a difficult subject to compare, especially
nationwide. My house seems to be very tight and efficient - I am
trying to get a feel for what others are going through. My wife
thought I was crazy to go for all the high efficiency stuff and I am
trying to see if she was right.... Considering how many thousand $$$
it all cost up front, I sure hope my bills are low. Maybe I'll break
even by 2015.
