Over 10 years ago an attorney buddy said I was a "burnt out cinder of
my former self" ... wouldn't that qualify as *has been/once was*?

This morning a property sold for $1.00 at trustee sale. Yes it was a
graduated bid with beneficiary instructions to bid up to $10K.
Beneficiaries ofter play this game but having attended thousands of
sales, I've never seen the $1 token bid. If someone bids but is
unwilling to top the lender's high graduation number, the vultures
will hang the party wasting eveyone's time.

I can see it now:

Foreclosure property selling for as little as $1 ... no one knows
about this! Sign up for our forclosure seminar this weekend.
