Not sure *right at the moment*, but I remortgaged to a 5 year fixed back in
March and I whittled down the contenders to Nationwide (who I eventually
went with), the Skipton and the Alliance and Leicester (buy online, if you
buy at
one of their shops, they'll charge £600 arrangement fee).
These were the cheapest 3 for me personally - for all the shouting the
Cheltenham
and Gloucester have done about paying all fees etc., I found them to be one
of the
more expensive options!

However, I did restrict my search to banks/building societies that had local
offices - just a personal thing, if something goes awry I like to be able to
shout
at them face to face :-)
