We had a bidding war while selling our house and some of the offers (we had
*eight* of them!!) were identical in price and contingencies. What we did
was give all bidders the opportunity to counter and give us their best and
final by a certain deadline. FWIW, they *all* countered except one and
raised their own offers. We didn't raise our price.
