Actually I would contest that Gold is the new Gold.

A single problem in terms of build quality, neighbours, infrastructure, 
flooding, social matters, political instability, education provisions, 
inward investment, geology etc etc and property is then not so attractive.

Admittedly if all these areas are positve then property is great, especially 
when its geared up by loans.

But, there are plenty of issues to worry about globally, thats why Gold is 
appreciating.

Like any investment matter you need balance, Try re-investing some of your 
gains into Gold!
