In that case, figure how many circuts the front will need. Add how many
sprinklers the back will need. Get a controller with at least that
total of circuts. You can use the ones intended for the rear later for
the temporary sprinklers.
Get the controller now for the temp circuts and just install it
temporarily. Then it can be moved when you do the front sprinklers.
Just locate it someplace where the wireing can get to both front & back
easily.
When you do the front sprinklers, if not DIY, make sure the installer
knows you have the controller already. If you already know who will do
the install (also if not DIY) you may want to get the controller from
them so it will be the type they are used to working with.
