California has many.  In fact, Willits in northern California used to hold a 
major solar exhibition that became too big for the town or too small for the 
pockets of the promoters and it was moved away.

Also, Oregon, Nevada and New Mexico.  I do not know about the other states. 
Maybe someone else will comment.  What state are you looking in?
