Regardless of hot or slowed, new home prices are not going to come
down on like home.Prices may be lower due to incentives or cheaper
materials going into homes but like home to like home prices will not
come down.
Price to build new is going to be the same or more in a hot market
than in a slow one. Materials dont change in price hot or cold.
As for selling existing homes. As any agent will tell you.
LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION.
Whats hot today may be a in the pits tomorrow based on business
closing or some external event.
