If you feel more comfortable with a lawyer, get a lawyer, at least you know
which side they are on. I am trying to buy a house in NY and I am having a
lot of trouble with the mortage company and various other aspects, that
having a lawyer is making things slightly easier. Also, think of it as some
insurance on the one of the biggest purchases of your life.
