I have the opposite situation because my bank won't issue a cash card
that isn't also a Switch card. I don't ever want to use a Switch card in
a shop so when I get a new card I immediately write ==VOID== in big
black letters across the signature strip.

It would be interesting to see what would happen if a thief replicated
the ==VOID== onto a sales voucher. :-)
