To rent the smallest truck from Uhaul to go from CA to NY is about $2K. This
excludes cost to get down there, lodging, food, gas. Moving company is
probably at least that much.

As another poster said, would you buy this stuff anyways sometime soon? If
not than I don't know if you'd gain anything.
