I'm confused.  If you have an agreement--that is, a contract that both
parties have signed and that has passed any statutory or attorney-review
waiting periods, neither party can change that agreement without the other's
consent.  So what do you mean by "they put in an addendum"?  Do you have an
agreement or don't you?
