If the drywall itself is blooming, only  fix is to tear out and
replace that portion of the drywall. Even if you manage to kill the bloom
completely, mold means the drywall was wet, and will never be as strong
again.

Leastway that has been my experience. Drywall work is a PITA, but the
materials are cheap, and I don't ever want to repeat a repair. Standard mold
remediation warning- fix the water problem before you do anything else.
