After extensive experience in a major metropolitan area of the US I
have concluded that your chances of finding a fiancial planner of any
ilk including FPANET and other recommended fee only planners who are
not both duds and nincompoops is essentially nil.
Your only chance is to educate yourself thoroughly and take
responsibility for your own fate.
And please no comments about doctors, lawyers, etc.., for whom the
above evaluation most definitely does not apply.
