Subject: Question about my Property Value

Scenario-
I live in rural North Carolina.

1/2 acre lot directly behind my house(25' off the corner of my house)
cleared to the ground this week.  This is LITERALLY out my back door.

People are putting in a house.

This is DEFINITELY going to negatively affect my property value (not
to mention that this has stolen my sense of 'home').  The feel of my 2
acre 'family farm' is
forever changed by this.

Can I sue these people for their actions that are hurting my property
value?
