Misc.invest.financial-plan is a *moderated* newsgroup, meaning
moderators review all posts.
  
In general you can expect that any well-tempered post dealing with
general financial planning will be posted.  Further:

1.  CROSS POSTS, COPYRIGHTED material, LENGTHY or OFF-TOPIC posts and
POLITICAL COMMENTARY should be directed elsewhere. 

2.  ADVERTISEMENTS/SOLICITATIONS are not allowed.  Commercial
references in the SIGNATURE LINES are acceptable, as long as the body
of the post makes a substantive contribution.  Please limit signatures
to three lines maximum.

3.  Except in flattering terms, REFERENCES TO OTHER PEOPLE is likely
to result in the moderator ignoring the post.  

4.  We urge everyone to TRIM POSTS to which they respond.  ("Trim"
means that except for minimal amounts of quoted material to provide

5.  When a post does not comply and providing the poster used a VALID
EMAIL ADDRESS, the moderators often will return the post with a

Lastly, the moderators, while brilliant , cannot explain why
posts occasionally appear on some news readers and not on others.
