You still don't get it do you? You bought a discontinued, damaged floor
model at a deep discount. After your wife accepted the item you
discovered additional damage. They obviously could not replace the unit
because it is a discontinued model. You whined to them and they offered
to take it back and refund your money. You refused their offer. Live
with your decision.
Sometimes business are better off without certain customers.
