Not sure what is the current status of those 2 shares. However, if they do
become/ are worthless, then you should be able to establish a CGT loss,
which can be set against CGT gains.
Also, if you subscribed for the shares, you have the option of establishing
an income tax loss. This can be set off against other income -
e.g.employment income - to generate a tax refund. Just done one for client
who got £20,000 back from the IR. :)
