Anyone who looks down upon people who frequent garage sales is a fool. If TV
programs like Antiques Roadshow hasn't proven that, nothing will.

Even if you put the unhidden treasure aside, what's wrong with looking for
bargains? Most of the wealthy people I've known were also the most frugal -- 
probably how they got wealthy in the first place.

The truth is, most people have gotten past the outdated stigma. The people
that tend to look down their noses at garage sale patrons are precisely the
people who need to save a few bucks by shopping at them.

Need more proof? Look at how the demographics of the typical
BigLots/McFrugal's/Pic-N-Save customer has changed over the years.
