I just saw a listing on the MLS offering buyer's agents 5% commission on
$2.5 mil condo's. Even though I prefer to list, I have to admit it got me
thinking of ways to find a buyer.

While I agree that it's a disservice to the seller to allow them to list the
buyer's agent side below 3%, I still don't see how it hurts (anyone but
myself) to reduce the commission on the listing side of the transaction.
