hi, my mother has been receiving social security since 2001, the age
in which she became retired.

this august, she will be 70.5 yrs and will be making a minimal
withdrawal from her 401k.

last year, she made about 30K from her job, as a self-employed, in
addition to 10k from social security.

can she establish a 401k and contribute to it for the year 2003?
if possible, she plans to put in about 20k to her 401k.

also, can you point me to the irs publication that contains
information on this topic??

thank you in advance...
