My husband and I are planning to do some real estate investment in a year or
two. We realize the basic risk and work involve in such an investment and
would like minimize the risk by avoiding common mistakes. Here is our
situation, my husband is in his late 20s and I am in my early 20s. We just
bought a house this year (~40k equity now) and should have about 50k in cash
flow in a year or two. We would like to have a handful of properties in 10
years. Is that realitic? Where should we start? What is the best way of
avoiding expensive mistakes other than learning from your own mistakes?

TIA,
NC
