I've been doing some reading about the AMT and how, if nothing changes, more
and more taxpayers will get hit with it. Are there any useful websites with
calculators that can help someone determine if they're at risk? I know the
factors are income level, amount of itemized deductions, capital gains and
stock options. How to stock options impact the AMT calculation? Is it
simply because of the potential capital gains?
Thanks.
