I love my basin wrench even though I've only used it once. Try
loosening the supply line nut with a regular wrench for a couple of
hours, then switch to the basin wrench. Well worth the $12-$15.
But to tighten up the faucet assembly to the sink you won't need one.
You can reach up under the faucet and tighten it by hand.
