Subject: Amperage and house...

Have this 60 year old house. 15 amp breakers in the basement, but one
constantly blows all the time. Two air conditioners (one 6.5 amps and the
other 5.2 amps) are on this one breaker. Also a TV and some other electrical
equipment. I'm new to electricity, but am I suppose to add up all the
amperage for all the electrical devices and see how much it all equals to?
That number is how many amps are running on the circuit? I keep blowing that
15 amp breaker...and I'm not sure where to begin looking. It only obviously
happens when both air conditioners are running....thanks!
