I wouldn't work for those sort of morons anyway. A listing agent needs to
market the home to other agents NOT the general public. Sure it's easier to
let the seller think you are, but it's pure bullshit. The only reason a
broker would require an agent to try sell his own listings is so he can tell
his prospects "he's going to sell their house" with a clear conscience. But
that's realty's BIG lie. In reality only about 2% of listings are sold by
the one who listed them, at least according to NAR and my own personal
experience. Those brokers should take no pride in that policy. It only
proves they haven't got a clue, have deceived themselves, or are blatently
deceiving the seller and shooting themselves in the foot wasting their
employees time.
