Subject: Tax Liens and Bonds?
From: a1@usa.com (Bestfriend)

When applying for a "release of federal tax lien", the I.R.S.
application states that they will accept a "bond" for payment of tax.

What does this mean?
What's the name of the bond that's accepted specifically?
Where can one purchase this kind of bond?

My brother needs to have his IRS house lien released, and is
interested in the "bond" alternative.

(I've looked everywhere on the net, and I find no answers to this
question.)
Thanks for your help in advance.

Liz
