I don't know...  new mower 99 bucks.  annual maintenance of 30 minutes plus
oil, air filter and sparkplug and effort vs. a new mower every three
years... plus you deduct the mower for 99 bucks on your taxes when donated
to charity (where they will change the oil and sparkplug, airfilter etc.).
It's not hard to justify buying a new mower instead of just buying a new
one.  (if you are buying cheap mowers that is)
